Our Story

It all began in March when Arthur V. Kuhrmeier discovered the application Moviestorm which offers filmmaking with machinima technology. Machinima is a combination of the words "machine" and "cinema". It's the same technology that revolutionized computer games in 3D environments about 30 years ago. Lots of improvements made it a powerful tool for artists and filmmakers. Arthur wrote the script for a short film, it's the preview you can watch above. He began to gather a team to produce this film professionally. Lucinda McNary from Two Moon Graphics is an experienced filmmaker. She encouraged Arthur to extend the script and produce a full-length movie. The team is growing since. The Impact

Machinima is a technology often seen as a game, deprived of seriousness. But there are lots of filmmakers who proved different. Machinima has developed into full featered filmmaking. Characters walk, interact, show joy, fear, anger, etc. Lots of companies like Blockhouse tv (Source: wikipedia) have discovered the benefits of machinima for use in education, introductions, or advertisements. Machinima is an upcoming style of filmmaking.

This project creating a full-length thriller using machinima technology is ambitious and unique. Arthur expects professional work from himself and everyone else. Moviestorm founder Matt Kelland interviewed Arthur about his life and projects:
Arthur V. Kuhrmeier is a relative newcomer to Moviestorm, but already he's made a huge impact with his innovative mods. In less than two months, he's released 11 videos. His major project now is a full-length feature film a thriller called I Didn't Shoot Sara, an expansion of I Shouldn't Have Done That. "Now I'm so excited about this project. This movie is a real kick for me." His passion for movies is undeniable. "It's like a mysterious spirit. You don't know where it came from, you don't know how to get rid of it - it drives you on and on."

Be Part of the Team

Machinima makes it easier for filmmakers to create movies. Nevertheless this means a lot of work, because we want to create a perfect presentation of the thriller. Therefore we put much effort in details and the ambience. Most important are the emotions of our characters. Every expression has to be chosen carefully by hand. Our goal is to fascinate the audience from the first minute to the end credits.
