Synopsis: 

Clarke Duke is a frustrated insurance agent who is becoming a self-proclaimed messiah . . He’s launched a successful online religion called Virtology, but it’s not enough. His mission is to travel and find followers in the real world . .
What makes Godspell different:  Because people are always being seduced by charismatic leaders who turn out to be corrupt and phony. A fictional story is a great way to illustrate this in a dramatic (comi/tragic) way

I’ve ‘retreated’ to Melbourne to continue writing. Will return to NZ mid-late 09 to complete filming .. . stoked to announce NZ’s actor of the year ’08 Matthew Sunderland will be in the film, as will the lead of Kombi Nation, Genevieve McLean.
Karen Hunter, awesome musician will be there too so we are building the talent pool nicely !

shoots last weekend went a mixture of great and tough. Now prepping for shoot on the 5,6 dec in Auckland NZ. Meeting a distributor this week. Looking good…

We are stoked to screen the first act to the public ::

Happy Bar 3 September 8pm. It’s a fundraising event with performance poetry and live music. Featuring Shane Hollands, Andy Coombs, Craig Ireson, Glenn Ashworth with musicians Michaela Manley, Ben Wood.

In November there will also be a screening at MIC’s Short Fuse in Auckland.

October – December will see a hive of activity in New Zealand as we shoot the second act.
