Painting a Portrait of America's 21st Century Hobo

Highway Goat Productions sets motion to its first feature documentary film to bring you the beginning and end of one of our fondest fairytales - the hobo's journey.

Dan Skaggs (rail name Skeeter), Kentucky born and dreadlocked, has logged ten thousand miles on America's railroads.  Now, after a brief hiatus, he's ready to catch out once again, this time accompanied by an experienced film crew.  Freeload is his vision.

"We are going to bring you the people that you may see in your town and never even knew existed - the train riders of America"

Freeload shows the life of contemporary hobos, living in an age that's turning them into myths.
They're lost breeds, gone from the orthodox, subscribed to rattling around America courtesy of its railways.

Freedom, Hell and Creosote.

BECOME A FREELOADER (Donate a minimum of $10)

We set our goal at $5000.  Highway Goat Productions consists of three film units in production simultaneously  - one by rail, one by road and one back home.  Every beat of our ride becomes your movie.

Our production costs include one more camera, external hard drives, memory cards, batteries and gasoline.
