Two zombie loving geeks and their reluctant girlfriends stop at Evans City Cemetery where the original Night of the Living Dead was filmed. While there they encounter a horde of ravenous zombies only this time it isn’t a movie.
For Love of Zombies is a short film that will be filmed on location at the world famous Evans City Cemetery. We are one of the few zombie movies to receive permission to shoot there. Principal photography begins this June and we need to raise the funds necessary to complete this project. Funds raised will be used towards equipment rental, food, lodging, and cast/crew payments.
We have a strong following on our Facebook fan page with over 1,000 fans. We also have three websites dedicated to the promotion of our projects: www.grindhouse-pictures.com, www.grindhouse-radio.com, and www.forloveofzombies.com.
We are currently filming five webisodes. Each webisode tells a small story that ties in to the short film. These are a great promotional tool and will help build momentum and following for the final product.
Any donation will receive a credit in the film. Other potential investor perks include set visits, being an extra in the film, and For Love of Zombie merchandise including t-shirts and movie posters.
We have big plans for this film which include entering it in several notable film festivals IE: Sundance, Slamdance, and Toronto.
Don’t forget to tell all your friends about this exciting opportunity.
