Who We Are

We are an indie folk band from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. So far, we have independently released a debut album, and made a place for ourselves in the Montreal music scene, progressively cultivating a solid fan base.

Nick Vallee, the lyricists and vocalist, was born and raised in Vancouver. He moved to Montreal to finish university, and immersed himself in the vibrant local music scene. Laurie Torres, a native Montrealer, has played in bands since she was a teenager, and is proficient in a plethora of instruments including piano, guitar, drums and banjo. Christopher Fox, who grew up in England, also plays a variety of instruments and has been a long time active sound engineer and music producer. 

Folly only started playing together in 2010, and found themselves immersed in a rare creative and personal compatibility. Only a few months later, they started recording their songs, which led to a surprisingly rich creative process.

The Project and Why We Need You

Because of the success of our debut album and the support of the people around us, we are ready to create a new record. We have more than an albums worth of new material that we are currently refining in preparation for recording. We need funds to record, mix and master the album with a renowned producer, and to press it. Any extra funds will be used to promote the album internationally.
