About The Movie

The Exorcism is a short film I wrote after I noticed very little of the full exorcism rite was portrayed in any movie I had ever seen. I spent a lot of time researching actual exorcisms and I have infused the screenplay with dialogue that comes straight off audio recordings of real exorcisms. The idea behind the film is to portray an exorcism in such a grounded and realistic way that the terrifying thought of being possessed is a tangible reality for the audience.

The Talent

The film has already attached Damian Maffei to star in the film as the Priest. Damian has recently wrapped production on Joe R. Lansdale's newest feature Christmas With the Dead. You can visit Damian's website here.

The Money

All funds will be used during the pre-production and production phases to secure crew, equipment, actors, costumes, props, meals, location, ect. No matter what this production is going forward regardless if the funding goal is reached or not. Less money might mean cutting a few corners or reducing production value... and I would try to avoid that if possible, but this movie is going to be made.
