Our Story
Hi guys!!
Our names are Kristin and Dannielle, and we have a company called Everyone Is Gay.
Everyone is Gay is a couple of things. First, it is an advice website for all, with an emphasis on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ) youth. The website uses humor and honesty to support these youth, to dialogue with others in the LGBTQ community, and to simultaneously keep everyone laughing. Second, Everyone Is Gay works to increase awareness at high school and college campuses through an ongoing, nationwide tour.
Before departing on our very first tour this past September, we were both working part-time jobs and meeting in Kristin's living room twice each week to keep up with the influx of emails, messages, phone calls, and other business-related items. Having now returned home, we have quit our part-time jobs (GULP!) and are continuing to reach out to schools and other youth organizations.
We are now working five days a week to keep things moving, and to reach as many youth as possible.
What We Need & What You Get
More than anything else, we need to survive and be able to pay the many bills, both for the company and for ourselves, in order to do the work that goes along with running a website and managing a nationwide tour of schools.**
We need your help to keep things running, especially through the next few crucial months of our growth. We have made it this far with your support, and we truly believe that by putting all of our energies toward these efforts we will soon be able to support ourselves while continuing to reach hundreds of thousands of youth worldwide.
We are campaigning to raise $20,000 to help us as we become a full-fledged and self-sustaining business. We want to encourage you to give any amount, there is NO AMOUNT TOO SMALL! Every little bit helps and gets us that much closer to our goal!
