Born in Berkeley, CA, Dominic Mah is a writer/director/rock musical librettist/ex-professional card player.  His first play, “Look for Water,” premiered at the Eureka Theater in San Francisco.   He also founded the rock musical theater troupe Emerald Rain Productions.  The screenplay adaptation of “Look For Water,”  co-written with Jennifer Phang, was selected for the Sundance Screenwriters Lab and has won several honors including the L’Oreal Paris New Vision Award and an Annenberg Foundation grant.  His shorts have screened at VC FilmFest and the Chicago Asian American Showcase.
