About Me
I've been writing and directing independent and
experimental films for over 15 years. Through my production companies
Stratosphere Pictures and Primitive Pictures, I've made 19
documentaries, music videos, and narrative films. I've also written
several feature-length screenplays, including AMERICAN PRIMITIVE, which I also directed and edited. I earned an MFA in Creative Writing (with a
focus on writing for stage and screen)from The Jack Kerouac School of
Disembodied Poetics at Naropa University in 2000, and since then, I've taught
creative writing, screenwriting, literature, and film at the college level.
