Jane June currently attends the Gallatin School of Individualized Study in New York University where she has been able to form her own liberal arts education in conjunction with a focused study in film and television production. Born and raised in the heart of Los Angeles, she enjoys bringing both the West and East coast lifestyles into her work. Having made several short films on both 16mm film as well as HD, she has also gone on to explore live studio production and documentary filmmaking. She continues to write, direct, and edit numerous projects, both in and out of NYU. She is currently in pre-production as producer and assistant director on several other short films and is thrilled to be making her first color and sync sound short film, The Kids Are Not Alright.
