About Me
Dance Houston is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization founded in 2003 and
its main mission is to increase dance appreciation in the Houston area.
Dance Houston believes dance is an expression of art, culture,
creativity, and community. We strive to present dance performances that
actively engage and inspire people. We respect and appreciate the many
diverse cultures and aesthetics that thrive in Houston, and our work
reflects our community through innovative, multi-cultural programming.
For nearly eight years now, our organization has introduced dance
audiences and newcomers alike to new experiences in dance as well as
kept our veterans of dance even more so on their toes. We showcase dance
through performances, hosting summer camps, events, educational
programs and more. Our audience just keeps growing and we enjoy
immersing them into an art form filled with expression, passion, drive
and heart.
