Hi all. I'm Alison, a former investigative/consumer producer turned freelance producer and filmmaker. Filmmaking is what I love to do. The problem? You guessed it, money! Shakespeare By The Sea Productions is hoping to get our short films recognized. Our second film of the summer, "Hello, Ramona" has garnered rave reviews and was hand picked by The Snob Film Festival to be screened in Concord, NH, the film was also selected to compete in Vegas Cine Fest, located in Las Vegas, Nevada. In addition this little film won a spot on the "Best Of Inland Empire" for the 48 Hour Film Festival, in Temecula, California.
So what is our goal? First and foremost we want to further our shorts on the festival circuit, "The Therapy Ring", and our recent short "Cool Planet". "Therapy Ring" is ready to go, but we are still waiting to finish the edit on "Cool Planet". We believe all our shorts could be made into features, but we are especially excited about our kick ass short "Cool Planet", this short has the ability to go on as a feature or a TV Series. So having said all that, we need financial help to continue making our films. Our shoe-string budget which was all my savings is depleted and now we need the help of film funders, like yourselves, so we can continue to make films for all audiences!
Best
Alison
