This is the story of the dysfunctional Green family. There is neurotic Nancy, who has just been evicted from her million-dollar Bay Area estate, along with her equally-disturbed grown daughter. Then there’s Doug, the community’s deacon, who only pretends to love his life at home – when really it’s falling apart. Terry lives with their mother. Then there’s Devin Green, the estranged niece, who doesn’t want to belong anywhere that feels remotely like home. When she offers her homeless aunt and cousin a place to stay for the duration of a month – old wounds reopen and old family secrets resurface in this bittersweet drama about redemption and moving on.
