My 'funsized' Story

Hey Everyone,

My name is Brenna Rhea. I am an actress and a model with a vivid imagination and a knack for dipping my hands into all things creative. I recently recorded and released my first single, '13 Knots', on January 16, 2012 along with its music video debut at the Mint. After its premerie and the release of my single I found myself with a great amount of people who couldn't wait to hear and see what was next... Well folks, this is it!

As a reader, writer, blogger, and now songwriter I have officially come up with a song, storyboard, and concept for my next music video.

My last song and video was a story about a young girl in the 1800s who witnesses a muder and because of it gets hung on false accusations. The song itself is a haunting peice with lyrics, that if listened to closely, will tell a story all by itself. The video, directed by, JFRobinson, is a sad tale spun with great cinematography that competely encompases the viewer into the life of this young girl. Through my vision, JFRobinson, completed a music video that only added to the eerie yet sad story of '13 Knots'.

So to follow in the footsteps of my last video, I decided to do another period peice. This time the music video will be set back in the days of the 1940s when Mobsters ran the town and love was just as romantic as the guns that wielded it. With a storyline that mirrors that of 'Public Enemies' with the romantic gestures of 'True Romance' you will be taken on a completely black and white adventure with a girl in love with a Mobster Boss and her entanglement in the life of his choices.

The Song is labeled 'Bullets'.

The Impact of The Bullet

My goal is to bring back music videos that actually tell stories and have meaning. No more booty bouncing, booby jiggiling, sexual inunendo nonsense. Although interesting and entertaining in its own way, my goal is to bring people not only music that opens up lives of various individuals but allows the viewer of the video to feel as though they were a part of something, much like a short film. Within the realm of 3 to 4 minutes I want to accomplish a story that takes your breath away, gives you chills, and makes you think. Much like my last video, the comments and reviews seemed to deem my vision worthy of such emotion. I want to bring my voice, compared to Marilyn mixed with Nancy Sinatra, to the table of a new era of music only the 'post apocalyptic' world of 2012 could handle.

My goal, according to the budget plan, is to raise around 9,000.00. The last video I did was around 3,000.00 which was all raised through fans, family, friends and out of pocket expenses. And for that amount of money, I think it looks pretty good. But now I'm ready to take the bull by the horns, get some real equipment and shoot out a great video that will truly be an inspiration for music artists to come.

What We Need & What You Get

The money donated will be distrubted to all aspects of the making of the film listed below:

Equipment: Lighting, Cameras, Lens, etc.

Props: Guns, period peices, interior desgins, etc.

Costumes: 1940s Outfits, Zoot Suits, Female Mobster Wear etc.

Crew: I want to pay the crew this time around

Cast: I want to pay the cast this around.

The goal is 9,000.00

If the goal is not met I will still go on with the filming but that means not getting to pay the amazing people that I work with. And everyone knows what its like to work for free, although a great experience, its good to get rewarded for hard work and time spent.

1,000.00 - Copy of Both Songs, '13 Knots' & 'Bullets', a signed picture, a PRODUCER Credit,  free entry to the premiere of the video screening and if available, on set seat/viewing to the filming of 'Bullets'
