From its striking visuals to its highly customised meditation tracks and totally unique bonus features such as Two Player Meditation, buddhify is a wonderfully creative & innovative app. It takes meditation to a completely new place and solves the problem that so many people in the world are interested in meditation as a way to improve their wellbeing but are unable to find an accessible route in. Until now.
How the money will be spent
As I said, I've spent a bunch of my own money on this project - $9000 of cash and at least that again of my freelance time which I could have been charging out to clients - and it's been a pleasure to do so. The $4500 raised here will be used to fund a marketing & PR specialist and any associated campaign costs. Given how "sticky" the idea of learning to meditate out&about in the city is, the marketing and promotional work will focus 80% on social media and 20% on traditional media channels. We will provide a detailed breakdown of how the money is spent as the project continues.
