“A character driven documentary following Andrew Shelley, a 90lb man with Muscular Dystrophy, as he backpacks around the world in his wheelchair, searching for happiness.

In order to find the answers to where he belongs, a man gives up the American Dream to backpack around the world, a task seemingly impossible for his frail 90 lb body, which is the result of a disease that eats away at his muscles. His only aid and odd companion will be the monster truck of wheelchairs. All that remains are two very real questions: How will he survive this trip? Will he find what he is searching for before its too late?

Beyond The Chair is a feature length documentary in the post production stage. Picture lock is estimated to be complete by May 1st. The costs that this project still faces are sound design, music rights, score, and several elements for finishing the final touches to ready the film for distribution.
