He graduated from the acclaimed Theatre Arts department of the University of Ibadan, where he majored in Film and Theatre studies.
He has worked extensively in the film and theatre industry as a Director, Producer and Writer.
The Tenant which won the Audience Choice Award as Best film at the Hollywood Black Film Festival, Best Feature Film at the Moving Image Film Festival and was nominated for the Golden Mango Award at the Bite the Mango film festival marks his first writing and producing credit for a feature film. He had earlier written, produced and directed 3 short films; Young Wise Fools, A Woman in My Closet and The Enemy Within. Some of his other line producing credits are for the feature films Heaven for a G and Legends of Afrobeat.
His writing credits for film include Sex in the Age of Innocence, The Drum, Ghetto Red Hot, Kite and Faces of a Coin which are currently in pre-production. He has written, directed and produced 3 plays; Your God is Dead, Snares of Lucifer and Love is the Word. Some of his writing credits for stage include Oduduwa; King of the Binis, My Enemy My Friend and Vendetta
His collection of short – stories A Box of Chocolates has been published by Trafford; a publishing firm in Vancouver Canada. His poem Gracias O Canada is included in an anthology of poems The Color of Life which was published in the U.S. He is a prolific poet as exemplified in his yet to be published anthology of poems Meditations of a traveling mind and O My God
He acted severally in Nigeria and was part of the cast of the Toronto premiere production of Wole Soyinka’s Death and the Kings Horseman. He is currently working on a novel By My Own Hands alongside several other spec screenplays and producing other film projects. An artist in all sense of the word, Jude is resolute in his determination to break new grounds as a seasoned creator of life altering artistic works.
