Producer, One Way Or Another Productions
In 2001, Brian migrated from South Jersey to NYC to study filmmaking at Brooklyn College where he spent his first 3 years on every student set that would have him. In class Brian was introduced to theories and practices in editing, camera operating, lighting, directing and writing, but his independently-driven work ethic on set is where he got his hands-on experience in lighting, gripping, gaffing, and producing in general.
Eventually, Brian branched out to do his own projects. Still at BC, Brian wrote and directed (and in some cases acted in and edited) a number of short films including a black-crime/fiction-comedy called Hostage Person, a feminist melodrama entitled La Fleure Sans Vie and a documentary looking at a production of Eve Enslers The Vagina Monologues and the origins of the V-Day Movement.
Brian made his feature film acting debut in 2008s Cookies & Cream, directed by Princeton Holt, which Brian also helped to produce with One Way or Another Productions. The following year Brian directed his first feature, the award-winning, critically acclaimed Uptown, which he co-wrote and produced also with One Way. Both Cookies & Cream and Uptown have been picked up for multi-platform distribution and are available wherever DVDs are sold.
