The Story

Memories of the past send Brooke on a journey through time. Brookes memories, from late high school,  show pain and change that release through her senses. In her journey through life, she crosses paths with Sean, who opens unwanted doors that she is unable to close. This new feeling explodes, resulting in depression, anger, and drastic measures. 

Amidst  the hardship and calamity lies a rose; a blue bud that pushes Brooke to think beyond herself and beyond the world. Though others deny its existence, none can deny the effect. This film is a dialogue-heavy experimental drama, using the key theme of the existence of beauty.

Artistic Style and Inspiration

Having lived my teenage life through the age of technology, I have seen many views of beauty and origins of such beauty. I wish to express not what I think everyone should believe, but suggest questions and new perspectives on the subject. In the film, you see Brooke struggling with self-image throughout stages in her life. 

As an artist in writing, on canvas, or on paper, I believe my style is different than many director/writers. I wish to combine the aesthetic and visceral aspects of honesty to create the aroma of artistic perspective. 

Why I need YOU

Films are expensive. Being a student in college, I dont have much personal expense for film. I want this project to not be held back because of technical needs like funding. I wish to create an environment on set, where everyone is fed, hydrated, accounted for, and has the tools they need to produce the best possible quality film. This is more than a film for me. It is a way to enhance a positive creative outlook.
