IndieGoGo is Headed to Sundance!

Four years ago we launched during Sundance as a crowdfunding platform purely for filmmakers.  Since then whilst we’ve grown to include Creative, Cause and Entrepreneurial projects, this festival still holds a special place for us!

Wading through snow and amidst some heavy hitters in the industry, IndieGoGo will be there to support the filmmakers who have continuously utilized our platform in their fundraising endeavors.

We’ll be speaking on four separate panels that range from topics such as ‘Media Distribution & Crowdfinancing’ and ‘Super-Ultra Low Budget Filmmking Panel’  where our Founder & COO Danae Ringelmann will join our friends at FilmUtah.  Hosted by GLAAD, our Head of Business Development, Adam Chapnick, will be at The Sundance Filmmaker's Lounge discussing the role of social media for LGBT films and filmmakers in raising capital for their projects.   Don’t forget to check out our Facebook page for full details!

Quick refresh of some phenomenal film projects that have raised using IndieGoGo and found a place at Sundance in past years:

The High Level Bridge (2011), The Rocket Boy (2011), Miss Representation (2011)

This year we're proud to announce currently funding films on IndieGoGo which will be at Sundance this 2012:
