Determined to make a documentary film about legendary dancer Lauren Drake, a husband and wife team show pure passion and determination by starting a crowdfunding campaign to complete a project years in development.  Creating an organization called The Independent Collective, they launched an incentive for contributors to become a member and earn thembsleves various perks to help them reach their goal.  Already securing press in The Huffington Post, with support with influencers in the film space such as Daphne Rubin-Vega, Katherine Crockett and Director of Photography Kate Phelan, they surpassed their goal and are currently in completion mode to bring this film to their audience.
