As we’ve shown before, the more updates you send out the more money you raise. In fact, campaigns which send out updates daily reach, on average, more than 100% their target goal.

Updates can be used to say thank you, to keep your audience engaged with your work, or to present new perk offerings. Previous funders may share your campaign with others and people who have been considering funding may finally pull the trigger.

Aurora Anyada-Cerda with the La Casa Azul campaign has been sending out announcements almost daily with media, press, and statments by her supporters. She has raised over 33k in just 40 days!

Follow Aurora's lead and plan on setting aside at least an hour every couple of days to write-up and send out an update. It really pays off in the long run!
