Fractured Atlas Projects Get IndieGoGo for FREE in New Fiscal Sponsorship Partnership

We're excited to announce our new partnership with Fractured Atlas!  Now all artists and emerging arts organizations fiscally sponsored by Fractured Atlas can streamline their fundraising efforts and offer tax deductions on funds raised using IndieGoGo for no double fees.

What are the Benefits?

Fractured Atlas projects using IndieGoGo now enjoy:

• Tax deductions for contributions on IndieGoGo
• No double fees (Save 9%)
• Automatic IndieGoGo pitch page creation upon opt-in
• Integrated social media and community management/tracking tools

How Does It Work?

Set-Up:

1. Fractured Atlas projects opt-in to the IndieGoGo tool from Fractured Atlas’ website.
2. IndieGoGo campaign pages are automatically started for each project (on IndieGoGo.com).
3. Project owners receive instructions on how to complete and promote their IndieGoGo campaign.
4. All Fractured Atlas campaigns on IndieGoGo receive a Fractured Atlas badge.

Fundraising & Disbursement:

1. All funds contributed to Fractured Atlas projects on IndieGoGo are deposited to Fractured Atlas.
2. For each contribution, IndieGoGo issues a confirmation receipt to the project owner and contributor, and Fractured Atlas issues a tax receipt to the contributor.
3. Fractured Atlas disburses the funds to the project upon the project’s request.

How Much Does It Cost?

The same as fiscal sponsorship costs by itself on Fractured Atlas: only 6%. Thus, Fractured Atlas projects get fiscal sponsorship and IndieGoGo for 6% total.

• Login into your Fractured Atlas account
• Go to your "Manage Fundraising Campaigns" section with the Managed Sponsor Fund page
• Activate IndieGoGo in the External Tools section

Not yet sponsored by Fractured Atlas?

• Become a member of Fractured Atlas
• Complete the the fiscal sponsorship application form
• Follow the steps above once accepted

Question: how does this effect the 9% if not completed policy, since that's less than the FA 6% fee?
