A Cool New Way to Use IndieGoGo - Collaborative Birthday Present Buying
there was a girl named Esther. Esther was a nice girl who had a lot of friends. So many friends, she couldn't see all of them every day.
So Esther quickly learned how to stay connected when she was not around! Thanks to nifty tools like a computer, the internet, twitter and facebook, Esther was even able to help other people and organizations stay connected as well.
But it wasn't until June 14th - the day after Esther celebrated her birthday - that a very bad thing had happened. That morning, Esther woke up and discovered the worst... her computer - i.e. her connector - had broke!
What was Esther to do?
Well, nothing.
Why? Because her friends (lead by a really nice one named Lindsay) had already come together to buy her a new computer.
How? They crowdfunded her birthday present on another nifty site, called IndieGoGo. Her friends raised $1,488 raised of the $1,300 goal - the cost of a new computer.
So, thanks to her friends and IndieGoGo, Esther never skipped a beat. She stayed connected and continued to make a living helping others stay connected as well.
The End.
