IndieGoGo will be hosting four Pitch Camps at Digital Hollywood in Santa Monica. If you have a documentary, feature film, web series, transmedia or cause/brand-aligned project, this Pitch Camp is for you.  Enter by tagging your project on IndieGoGo before April 19.  (See below for detailed instructions.)

Executives from networks, portals, agencies, studios and brands will be standing by to take your pitch and provide feedback in front of a live audience. 3 projects will be selected to pitch for each Pitch Camp.

 

  • Mon, May 3: Documentary, Reality Show and Non-Fiction Web Series

  • Wed, May 5: Transmedia Projects
  • Thurs, May 6: Cause related Projects for Brands

 

How To Enter
Register by creating a project on IndieGoGo and adding the tag that corresponds to the Pitch Camp in which you’d like to participate.  (Instructions)

Criteria
Filmmakers should submit if their project matches the following criteria:

 

  • Project stage – development, production, a work-in-progress or complete
  • Purpose of Pitch – fundraising, feedback, or distribution

Projects will be selected to pitch based on the information and media presented on their IndieGoGo pitch page.  Selections will also receive a full pass to Digital Hollywood (value: $465)

Structure
Each selected filmmaker will have 5 minutes to pitch their project.  If showing a trailer or clip, they must include that in their 5 minutes.  Judges will then have 5 minutes to give feedback. 

Judging feedback
Judges will evaluate and provide feedback on the following:

 

  • Story
  • Team
  • Execution
  • Presentation
  • Video


Open Forum Pitch

After the finalists pitch, IndieGoGo will then open the floor to filmmakers in the audience to deliver a 2 minute pitch.  1-3 projects will be selected at random.


Judges

The judging panel varies from Hollywood execs to to financiers to distributors.  Pitch Camp is a great opportunity to get feedback from and access to professionals who might be able to help your project – whatever stage it's in. Judges will include individuals from:
