Beyond the Chair Congratulations!

Big congratulations to Andrew Shelley, Dusty Duprel, Rachel Pandza and Amy Janes of Beyond the Chair. They're the winners of AFCI Pitch Camp 2010.  

Judges from Sundance Institute, Lionsgate, WWE, Distribber, Kodak, and Warner Bros were impressed with the story and pitch. 


Synopsis:

"Beyond the Chair is a character driven documentary following Andrew Shelley, a 90lb man with Muscular Dystrophy, as he backpacks around the world in his wheelchair, searching for happiness.  Want to be inspired, watch this film's trailer and fund it now."

Also, congratulations to Travelin' Dave for winning the Speed Pitch session, which was open to Audience members.  Dave has been traveling the world for 30 years, and now he wants to bring his journeys to TV so the world can enjoy them too.

Danae Ringelmann co-founded Indiegogoo and often at conferences including SXSW, MAD Hong Kong, and Big Omaha. Fast Company Magazine recently named Danae one of the Top 50 Most Influential Women in Technology.
