Originally from Northern Virginia and a graduate of Radford University, Brandon Walz moved to LA in 2009 to pursue his life-long dream of filmmaking. He has since worked steadily in the industry, holding several positions on the technical side for features, shorts, documentaries, commercials, web series, television and more. While he loves films of all genres, his favorites are comedy and horror. Some of Brandon's major influences are Wes Craven, Cameron Crowe, The Farrelly Brothers, Sam Raimi, The Duplass Brothers, Lynn Shelton, Spike Lee, Richard Linklater and Woody Allen. An avid people watcher, he enjoys strong dialogue driven films that explore human interaction and character development.
In January 2011, Brandon co-produced, co-wrote and co-starred in the cross-country indie thriller, "The Poisoning". The film is currently in the festival and distribution circuit.
