The Story

Its big, its pink and its worth millions. Big Pink is the biggest blood diamond the underworld has ever seen and its been through the hands of every major crime lord from Moscow to Madrid.

Now, in a luxury hotel suite in central London, crooked dealer Van Rijk is about to make the criminal sale of the century.

The customer arrives: Al-Habib, an enigmatic ultra-rich collector. The two men shake on the deal. Serious money is about to change hands when there's a knock at the door

What follows is a series of bluffs, double crosses, reversals and reveals. Who killed Van Rijk's bodyguard? Who is the mysterious Hidden Man monitoring everything that happens in the hotel room? Who is the woman waiting in the bathroom? Is Al-Habib who he claims to be? Who's actually got Big Pink?

Big Pink is a polished crime thriller that will have you guessing until the very last minute and then the final twist will pull the rug from under your feet.

For Big Pink to become a reality we need your support. All money raised will go straight in to funding the production costs; the hire of equipment, props, location and cast and crew expenses. The closer we get to the target the closer we'll get to the production value we are aiming for. We really want to do this script justice, with a little help from you we can raise the bar and make this a fantastic film with a look 100x it's budget!

The people behind Big Pink

Director TREVOR WALSH is a creative, experimental Director who's worked on numerous short film, music video and commercial projects. Big Pink will be his 6th film credit and the most ambitious to date.

Writer LAURENCE TIMMS was a finalist in the prestigious Red Planet award 2008 and won the London Screenwriters Festival Short Script 2010 competition. He writes for the groundbreaking daily smartphone drama, Persona.

WHITE TIGER FILMS will be producing the project.  An ambitious production company with a varied range of film credits, from horror to comedy, to thriller and drama.
