‘Barry’ is a two minute film that will be shot on 35mm film in June 2009. The film is quickly gathering a buzz around it, having already gained the support of Kodak, Pinewood Studios, Movietech Camera Rental Co, Deluxe Labs and Grinlow Post-Production House as well as a group of strong industry professionals. ‘Barry’ will be entered into the Virgin Media Shorts Competition, which if it is successful, could see it screened in 214 cinema screens across the UK. It will also be entered into worldwide film festivals, where the producers are confident its quirky comedy with a sharp punchline will gather international attention.
