Jane was born on a sunny October day, after nearly being strangled in the womb by her twin sister, Margaret. She attended Minneapolis Community and Technical College where she studied Filmmaking and Screenwriting. Her screenplay Please Excuse Me While I Hang Myself was voted audience favorite in the
Screenwriters Workshops Leave Em Hooked showcase. While primarily considering herself a writer, she has worked in many other aspects of film as well. She has dressed sets, wrangled children, edited, managed a production office, assistant directed, directed, produced, spread fake blood across a city street… Every job has a lesson to be learned, and fun to be had. She also has experience in documentary film— outlining, directing, writing, editing and research.
