The Story of Bad Cold

Over the last few years, director Heiner , DoP Sven and actor Emanuel have been working together on various different projects.

Soon the idea was born to produce a feature film based upon Heiner's  book "Die Kämpfer" which he wrote and published in 1996. In the Summer of 2011, the idea came to life.

The project

"Bad Cold" is a Drama featuring lots of action, suspense, an unusual lovestory and philosophical moments. "Bad Cold" will be produced in the English language, the goal is to place it in the anglophone iTunes store. After the iTunes release, other Video on Demand Services, a DVD and a german Language cinema version are planed.

"Bad Cold" is the first German independent film produced in English for the iTunes Store.

The Movie

Falk Wieland, private Investigator, courier and "problem solver" meets his ex-girlfriend Coco, an ex-Swat Officer. Both share an existentialistic philosophy and consider themselves as center of the world.

They rediscover love, define it as their meaning of life and indulge in their sometimes brutal passion.

But suddenly a gang interrupts their togetherness and the hunt is on...

How your contribution will help

Filmmaking is very expensive. We expect the initial filming to take about 40 days, all of them jam-packed with blocking streets, renting and building sets, getting from one place to another, choreographing fast action stunt scenes and subtle drama scenes. The actors and the crew have to travel to and from the set and most of them have to be fed somehow. :-)

We want to be fair to our cast and crew and at least reimburse them for their work expenses.

Additionally, we have to pay insurances, taxes, city fees and that kind of stuff %-)
