For three men war was nothing compared to the personal battles they would face at home.

The Film

The Aviation Cocktail, written and to be directed by Colorado native David R. Higgins is a dramatic thriller set in the late 1950's.  Loosely based on his family's aviation history, the story centers around three war vets dealing with rural life after WWII.  Cast, crewed, to be shot and soon to be released in Colorado, this film will highlight the fruited beauty of the often overlooked, but majestic Colorado Plains. 


Get Involved and Promote Colorado Cinema

Precious, The Cove, Ink and Skills Like This are all noteworthy films on their own.  However, collectively these films along with others are proving that audiences no longer need Hollywood to create compelling and important cinema.  All of these films  were made with substantial Colorado ties and two of them were produced in Denver.  The Aviation Cocktail plans to join this list as the next big film to come out of Colorado, but we need your help.  


There are many ways YOU can help make sure you'll see our film in theaters early next year.  A small donation will  not only help to feed our cast and crew, print promotional and advertising materials, release the film and help expand the already tight budget, but it will also cement your place in the film itself.  Oh, and if you look to the right at some of our sweet perks you can get some really great swag!
