April comes from a diverse creative background in both independent film and television. In 2001, she produced the feature-length indie film, Bedford Springs, a dark comedy about four twenty-somethings who get involved in a crime in a small town. On that project she was involved in all aspects of casting, crewing, and budgeting. The film was picked up by HBO Europe.


As a Development Assistant for LMNO Productions in Los Angeles, April assisted with selecting and conceptualizing original television shows for various networks. Here in New York she recently project managed a series of seminars for broadcast on PBS.

In 2008, she presented her feature script, Heartbreaker, to Adam Linn of Good Look Productions. He loved the rock n roll story of a teenage runaway in the 1990s trying to get to Seattle to start a grunge band so much, he teamed up with her to produce a short film derived from it. They wrote, produced and directed Before We Get To Seattle together to take to the festival circuit. Currently, they are in post production and are seeking completion funds.


April holds a B.A. in Communications from Bradford College in Massachusetts, and was part of a Media and Cultural studies program at Thames Valley University, London, England her junior year. While attending college she was a regular writer for independent Boston music publications. Although she has never been in a band, she has been a rock n roll girl her entire life and wants to make films that embody that spirit and have a killer soundtrack.
