DERBY CITY FILM FESTIVAL
All of us at A Chip & A Chair and proud to announce that ChipChair's debut feature, If You Could Say It In Words, will be premiering at the Derby City Film Festival (www.derbycityfilmfest.com) on October 8, 2008 at 9:00 PM as the opening night feature!
We have opened fundraising here at indiegogo for small parts of our anticipated fetsival expenses. Currently, we are seeking $600 toward some hotel accomodations for our team.
If any of you are in the area, please come on down and see the movie. If you have friends or family or fans there, let'em know. And if you can, take a minute and a few bucks and contribute to our cause. Thanks, and stay tuned for more updates soon. |

The Reviews Are In!
OK, so it is one review, but it is a good one. The workshop production of Burning My Dreams To The Ground played to nearly sold out houses and terrific audience response. Even though it was just a one-week tryout of the material, it did get reviewed and with a little luck should go up again in a longer format eventually.

It Aint a Film, but...
A Chip & A Chair is helping to produce a play. Nicholas is directing Gregory Marcel's one-man story-schpiel "Burning My Dreams To The Ground". Greg is a burgeoning talent who has had small roles in big films (e.g. The Good Shepherd), big roles in small films (e.g. Sunkissed), with TV work (Guiding Light, Sex and the City) and off-Broadway plays in between. The play is an hour long celebration of failure in all its forms. Nicholas says "It's the love child of Spalding Gray and Denis Leary. It might be the funniest thing I've ever worked on in any capacity."
For those who are in the New York area, the show will be doing a one week workshop March 26-30 at The Michael Weller Theater in Hell's Kitchen to tune up for a potential Fringe Festival run in the summer.
