Our Story

Zombie Hood is an independent feature film currently being made in the East Midlands, England. Post production began at the end of 2009 and filming has been ongoing every since. The crew are made up from various talented individuals with a love of film, while the cast have all come through numerous casting sessions. A low budget, high production value film, we are currently 75% through filming, but now require additional funds to help us complete it.

Funding So Far

We've managed to film many of the scenes by being self funded and have been helped by the generosity of local companies and businesses, however some of the locations we now wish to film in require a cash outlay for their hire. While it's possible to complete the film with little or no extra money, we don't want to cut corners as what we've achieved so far is extremely high quality film making.

What We Need & What You Get

The more money we can raise, the better the film will be. While the majority of donations will go on location hire, we also need some new equipment, including camera lenses and lighting etc. We aim to complete filming by the end May, with a release early October 2012, but without additional funds, the film may take longer to complete and may not be as visually stunning as it could be. In return for your donation, we'll be able to finish the film and release it on time and to a high standard.
