Our Story

The Young African Visionaries Project is a three part media project featuring profiles for Obaasema Online Magazine, Young African Visionaries Music Forum, and the Young African Visionaries Documentary Film. This project was created by BGNB Productions filmmaker Rebekah A. Frimpong who uses her production company as creative think tank to connect communities with creative art ventures that promote cross cultural awareness. The first two parts of the Young African Visionaries Project have already been completed and the creator of the Young African Visionaries Project is now reaching out to the worldwide community to help complete the last phase of the project; the documentary film.

About The Young African Visionaries Documentary Film

The film Young African Visionaries Envision Tomorrow Today is a documentary film that will be filmed over the progress of the Young African Visionaries Project. The film will feature interviews and intimate profiles of some of todays most dynamic young African visionaries. The film will ask the question: "what makes a visionary"?  The Young African Visionaries Project as three part media project allows the documentary film to provide an in depth conversation of different perspectives about todays African youth. The youth of Africa rarely get to share their stories and experiences and in a world that is rapidly changing this story should be told.  The Young African Visionaries documentary film is ultimately about legacy, identification, intelligence, and positiveness among youth.  The film is about sharing the stories of unseen heroes, visionaries, and leaders.

The Impact

This is a special project was created to introduce the world to young African visionaries of today making positive progress and moves toward bring more opportunities to their communities, leaving powerful legacies, and creating new ways to connect people to positive movements.

• Camera/Film Equipment (Cannon 7D Camera, Lighting Equipment, Sound, etc..)

• Film Crew (Small crew of student filmmakers)

• Travel Expenses (different locations for interviews of subjects of the documentary film)

• Production of a Trailer for the Young African Visionaries Documentary Film
