I am soon embarking on an adventure, a vision I have had for some time. On September 28, I will be leaving for the Philippines for a year or so of solitude, meditation, prayer and fasting. My body has been trying to get my attention for years through an eczema condition that covers my entire body. Ive tried many diets, holistic treatments, to no avail and Western medicine only suppresses and creates other symptoms. Doctors have done tests and can find nothing. I know and believe that the condition is temporary, but it will not release until I stop suppressing and learn what it has to teach me. I will not let it go until it blesses me. Now is the time to stop the medications and just be with what arises.

My whole life has been a search outside of myself for lasting meaning in experiences, knowledge, relationships, achievements, altered states. Ive learned that it is all so fleeting, theres nothing to hold on to. In this realization, I recognize now the only thing that is eternal: the one Life force in and through all things and it was always ever WITHIN me.

I ask for your support and generosity in helping me to survive as a monk for a year. Financial support will help me to live while I have no job or income. Just as important is your support in the form of prayers, good thoughts and high vibrations.

I have a personal practice of always giving something, big or small, whenever ANYONE asks for it. I know deeply that we live in an endlessly abundant Universe, what I give away in the form of money or energy always comes back multiplied. I trust that what I receive will be just perfect. And so I give you my heartfelt gratitude in advance for your support.

I am setting my eyes now on the only thing that is really important, to heal myself, to heal my mind and body, and to deepen and heighten my level of consciousness so that I may in turn give it back to the world in my own unique way.

With my word, I simply ask, know and believe that all is taken care of.
