Our Story
In short:
This is the story of how a girl became a band and how an unlikely fling became a steady bond. Years ago I played my songs on the piano all by myself in Amsterdam. While living in the Czech Republic I met four musicians from a tiny village near Valasske Mezirici all the way in the east of the country. We planned to play only 2 gigs together but, more than five years later, we have our own van, toured through half of Europe, recorded a full length CD and have a lot of inspiration for new material.

Now:
Even though we do have some money saved up, it is not enough for what we would love to do: make analogue recordings of our new songs. We want to find out how much this 'old fashioned' way of recording adds to the sound of our vintage instruments. We found the perfect studio, booked it, have a bunch of songs we can choose from and now need your help.
What We Need & What You Get
We converted Czech crowns to euro's to dollars then back to crowns came to the following conclusion:
Four days of recording and mixing in the studio, mastering and modest promotion will cost about 2500 dollars. Through Indie Go Go we hope to raise 1200 euro/1700 dollars, which would enable us to record and promote our new EP 'Please read this for me'.
In return for your support we will send you unique, one of a kind and hand made items and be deeply thankful.
As we plan to give our new songs away as free downloads our music will be available for everyone. In exchange for your support now will make a limited amount of hard copies of our EP. You can also get a signed band photo, a typewriter written piece of tour/studio diary, polaroid pictures from the road, hand-made t-shirts, or even an acoustic concert in your own living room with home made cake for all your friends!
Please note: we have a very good memory, so we might surprise you in the future if you support us at this stage. We could, for instance, put you on the guest list when we play nearby, send links to free downloads of future recordings or just send a postcard from the road.
