Our Story

We are an independent production company based out of Nashville, TN and Los Angeles, CA. Our small but mighty company sprung into existence just a few years ago when the five of us found each other in film school. Since that historic moment we have been creating award winning shorts (its true, we have trophies) and have been longing for the day that we could create a feature. Well, that day has finally come folks Principal photography begins the first weekend in November!

Now, were still the same poor kids from film school, actually, I think we might have less money now that were out of school (thanks student loans) but were not letting that stop us. Worm started out as a short that we created on a budget of $100 for the 2011 48 Hour Film Project (learn more about this competition here - http://www.48hourfilm.com/). Its a crazy, quirky little film that won the hearts of those in Nashville and won us Best Film in our city for the second year in a row (yay trophies!). Now its time to make the feature version and were gonna do it with a budget of only $3,500 well hopefully, assuming nice people like you give us money.

The Plot

The film takes place in a future where we no longer have the ability to dream, and people have turned to Fantasites, a genetically engineered parasite that induces the user's wildest fantasies. When one socially awkward young man begins using this new miracle dream aid, hoping they'll bring excitement to his mundane life and get him closer to the girl of his 'dreams,' he soon finds the line between reality and fantasy squirming away.

What We Need & What You Get

We need money.

Were not asking for a lot because were not looking to get paid. Every penny given to us will be put onto the screen. We just want to be able to buy the props we need and take care of our amazing cast and crew (who is working with us for free!). Please help us afford more than PB&J.
