Wheels is an American tale about the last days of the traditional traveling carnivals. Everett, the owner of a small carnival, and his wife Tina and teenage daughter Bree are struggling to keep their way of life alive.

Yet as they move across their territory in the summer of 1995, they are told by one town after another that they are no longer needed and that larger, cleaner companies will be taking their place next season.

Faced with what lies ahead, Everett is determined to keep his caravan of carnies, misfits and outcasts together even though it appears to be the end of their road.
