Our Story
Hey Hey! It's Sabrina Chap! I've been working my ass off on writing, recording and producing my second studio album, "WE ARE THE PARADE". This album will be an incredible explosion of horns, ridiculous vaudevillian songs, political revelry and just plain good songwriting. I've given this second album everything I've got- getting over 30 additional musicians (5 trumpets alone!) to add to the album's wide range of styles (Dixie, Big Band, Jazz, Soul). Each musician has been paid, leaving me to fundraise for mixing, mastering, album artwork and printing the disc.
The Impact
I really want this campaign to happen because it will allow me to get this cd out there without going crazy. No. Really. Up until this point- I've done everything myself- videos, booking, publicity, press, web design, et cetera. I'm straight up not sitting at the piano anymore, but constantly working on getting this stuff out there. I believe this cd is a good one- and that once I'm able to finish it and get it out there properly, I'll have a chance of making a solid entrance as a solo artist.
What We Need & What You Get
I am trying to raise 5,000 to finish this album and set me up to do a solid release. Half of this will be to offset the costs of mastering, mixing, printing and paying for the cd's artwork. The other half will go to promotion costs - creating press releases, videos, creating websites, paying for postage to send the album to get reviewed, et cetera. Basically, I've already spent so much recording the album - including studio time, paying musicians,et cetera. I've done all I can on my own. Now I have this great product- and at this point, I need help getting it finished and out there!
