Our Story
We are a band of independent filmmakers located in the Rogue Valley of Southern Oregon. Though out of the main stream of the film industry we have garnered much respect from film festivals across the country. From points as distant as Hawaii to New Hampshire to Florida to Los Angeles our films have shown at more than 30 film festivals over the past few years and earned awards from many of those. We are beginning production on our third feature length film, Vampire Camp. This time a comedy and again with a volunteer cast and crew. But there are still many expenses even with a micro-budget movie like this one and this is why we are seeking your help.
The Impact
If this film doesn't get completed the world will come to an end and vampires will take over. I mean it. I mean it! Alright I don't mean it. We really are simply making this movie because the world needs more laughter . . . especially these days. The past projects we have produced have touched on some very serious and dark topics that have challenged audiences across the nation. But everyone including filmmakers need to lighten up once in a while. I'm certain we will return to making films that will help to make the world a better place but for now we just want to see people laugh.
What We Need & What You Get
Vampire Camp will be made whether or not you support the film with a contribution but with your help the odds of success for the motion picture go up. Your contributions will allow for purchase and rental of props that the producers might have to shot around otherwise. Your contributions will mean more film festival entry fees and maybe it will be your $50 that allows for entering Vampire Camp in to that one film festival where it is seen by a film distributor who can get Vampire Camp played in thousands of theaters. Your contributions mean keeping the cast and crew on task and at the top of their game by providing quality food on the set. Your contribution means the producers can rent out a studio at the end of the production to get those shots that can make a huge difference in making the film work. These are just a few examples.
What's in it for you? Of course you get the perks that are listed to the right of this page but you also get to know that you were a part of creating something and a part of helping artists realize their craft. Like I mentioned before the cast and crew do this for nothing because they are artists, because they are driven to create. You can be part of that. You can be a part of helping actors, cinematographers and screenwriters to fulfill a dream.
Other Ways You Can Help
The best way you can help beside your monetary contribution is simply to spread the word about this website and about the film. The more people know of Vampire Camp, the more people talk about Vampire Camp the greater the possibility that it might go viral and when that happens major film distributors take note and that can translate in to success.
