"V.R." is a new sci-fi web series directed by Paul Baker and produced by Kimberly Estrada.   The idea for VR was originally conceived by Fred Copeland of Cineplex Studios and given to Kimberly to expand into a web series.  After a first draft was completed by Tony Basile, Kimberly brought writer/director Paul Baker on board to add his unique vision to the project.  Kimberly and Paul last collaborated, when he directed her in his short film ""Bedtime Story", which was sold to Atom Films in 2007.  There, the film made it's budget back through a steady stream of web hits.  She knew he would be right for the project as the style he's established (directing commercials, award-winning short films and music videos) was a perfect fit for "V.R.".

The series follows the adventures of lead character VALERIE ROSE who travels across dimensions in search of her lost husband JARED (Tony Basile). Jared has been living in an amnesic state, working for a secret government division handling high priority cases. His personal life is filled with questions as to why he can't remember anything prior to his work with the agency.  He is also being manipulated by forces in dire search for Valerie and, more importantly, her mysterious power.  Jared discovers his reality is not what it seems when Valerie reveals their past, and the danger that lies ahead. 

Paul and Kim are utilizing their contacts from the tv and film worlds to assemble a talented cast and crew, who will push boundaries and raise the bar for what a web series can be.  Cineplex Studios will be distributing "V.R." on their Cineplex Live Stream Channel The goal is to expand the initial 5 webisode run into a fully sponsored season of the series.

How The Funds Will Be Used:

Production costs: equipment rentals, editing, special effects, costumes, props, set decoration, crew meals, and production insurance.  Any money raised above the goal for the pilot episode will go toward building the series.
