Synopsis :

love is a sudden revelation, a kiss is always a journey of discovery

When Kyle who has spent most of his single adult life working & socialising within the oil industry and travelling the world arrives unexpectedly home one night just before Christmas to find his latest girlfriend cheating on him, it sets off a chain of events that see him and a group of close but dysfunctional friends finally doing what they had always talked about but never quite got round to, taking a trip round the west coast of Scotland, a journey of discovery travelling throughout their yet unexplored Scottish homeland rampaging through ancient castles and places of interest. Which with opportunity they escape to & undertake with spirit until fate intervenes on their conquest and due to bad weather conditions they are stranded whilst in Tobermoray on the Isle of Mull where Kyle discovers more than he had bargained for in the form of a traditional Scottish pantomime and its leading lady. With honour and history keeping them apart a simple kiss takes a lead role and brings stars crashing down. When finally the weather breaks, the lads make a break of their own for a New Years festival and continue upon their journey, but its the discovery of his true feelings and the revelation of where his heart is that takes centre stage on arrival at their final destination on the Isle of Skye and theres only one way back for Kyle.
Mary has spent all her life on Tobermoray and after the death of her mother has taken on the role of her fathers keeper adding to his despair, he wants her to spread her wings and explore beyond the boundaries of her surroundings and the comfort of gay best friend Joseph. Unwilling to voyage outside of the home and people she cares for, Mary fantasises about Ancient storys & Myths of love to escape the reality of her situation and actively plays them out on stage as part of a local theatre group until fate intervenes and accidentally parted from her best friend she finds another leading man unexpectedly enters her life and whilst fighting through misconception and struggling to stay faithful to a friend, fantasy becomes reality and a simple kiss tells the real story. Unwilling to believe it could be real and still wanting the reality to live up to the fantasy she retreats but has she just let the real love out of her life and will she finally have to leave the ones she loves to get it back, or do myths really come true.
