Adela must sell a flamenco costume to her first client in order to establish herself as a self-employed independent. She lives in Jerez, Spain, the “cradle of flamenco,” and is a seamstress designer of flamenco costumes. We follow her on the critical day when she has an appointment with her first client since starting to work as an independent. We intercut her life with a day in the life of two very different residential streets we imagine intersect in front of her house.
