Once a week, once a month, or once a year, we pay our taxes. Its a rite of passage and its the best way of keeping the IRS off your ass.

Begrudgingly, we watch a sizeable chunk of our hard earned greenbacks disappear into the federal and state coffers. And from there it goes to…? Thats what I intend to figure out. Im going to dig in deep and uncover how our tax dollars are spent. Its time for transparency and fiscal accountability.

Currently we are 9 trillion dollars in debt and spending 1.5 billion a day. With so many problems and debt why does congress continue to fund projects like the Peoria Riverfront Museum for 130 million dollars, or give 19 million to examine gas emissions from cow flatulence? Now thats one good lobbyist.

Living in Pasadena, CA, a suburb of Los Angeles, I can tell you that our mass transit needs some real help, amongst other things. What does your city need?

Today, America has many problems. Our infrastructure is aging, our highways are crammed, our schools are stuck in the 50s, medical care is a disaster, and social security is on life support.

I believe that America is the greatest country in the world, but its time for OUR money to be spent towards a better living environment and not cow flatulence.
