Our Story

"This Is Our City" is an irreverent, brash sitcom not intended for the whole family.

Two roommates -- a former debutante and 30-something hipster -- barrel-ass through The City. They leave a trail of of ruined, or at least severely damaged, lives in their wake as they find adventures, or adventures find them -- whatever comes first.

The show is written by Tim Stotz. Travis Legge is slated to direct the pilot episode entitled "Shock and Awww".

It stars Melissa Revels and Stotz as the roommates. More cast members announced soon!

Stotz has written a metric ton of of scrips, mostly for shorts, but has been a script doctor for several other projects. He's shot 3 feature-length films; acted in 2 of those, along with several other shorts, and has logged a little time in about every position a set could have except figure skating coordinator. Some day.

The Impact

We're asking for funds to produce a sitcom pilot. In other words, we're going to make a prototype episode to shop around to network execs and enter contests. The hope is that one of the head sumbitches likes our pilot and decides to commission us to make more. Then, we're they're problem and not yours. But we do hope you watch!

What We Need & What You Get

We're used to doing productions on shoe-strings, but there are inevitable, hard costs that are involved with this pilot: gear, transportation, feeding the cast & crew, and other things.

We sure could use your help, but we're not into the whole someting-for-nothing trip. There's swag to be had! Here are the swag levels:

$1 thank you via twitter from Mel and me.

$10 secret sneak peek and behind-the-scenes videos

$25 T-Shirt -- City Mall Wolf Hunt http://timstotz.com/tioc/wolfshirt.html

$100 Script signed by as many cast and crew as possible

$150 Special Thanks in the credits.

$250 Associate Producer credit

If patrons buy a thing, they get every thing in the list cheaper than it as well.

Other Ways You Can Help

It's tough out there! We know! Why do you think we're asking you for loot? Whether you can give or not, please help spread the word of this campaign. There will be other page and ways you can help coming soon! Including, we hope, watching us when we're on the TV.
