Our Story
The filmmakers of "Things I Don't Understand" are in the final
stages of post and need your help and support for
finishing and going on the festival circuit. This is a great story being told because of the hard and passionate work of many
talented people, and we wish to share it with the upcoming festival
season, give it the best chance to be seen around the country, and
find a proper distribution deal.
I've spent ten years in NYC and and encountered many people, helping
all I can in their personal and artistic endeavors. I'm asking now if
I've ever known you, supported you or helped you in any way to please
join our cause, donate whatever you can and help us finish this great
film and spread the word!
The Impact
Firstly, your donation will make a HUGE impact on everyone who has
worked on this film! We will love you for it. Your contribution can
prove that truly independent film is still
alive and well in NYC.... trust me it doesn't get any more independent
than the way I've made my two films. So I'm reaching out this time and
asking for you to join me in the fight and the celebration of
storytelling and be a part of our journey.
What We Need & What You Get
We're seeking $5,000 in post-production funds to
assure we have all the materials to finish our film and send out proper
packets and screeners to make important festival deadlines. We are so close to the finish line! Your
support will guarantee you a chance at either an invitation to an
upcoming screening or DVD of this film.
Other Ways You Can Help
PLEASE HELP US SPREAD THE WORD! Even a dollar and a referral counts and helps us greatly--all is appreciated!
