I'm Roni Jonah and I'm directing my first feature with the help of my partner, Jason Crowe. Jason and I have worked on several films together, including our "practice" movie, The Legacy, starring wrestling legend, Al Snow, and Hell House with Ari Lehman, the first Jason Voorhees and Rochelle Davis, in her first film since The Crow.

The Zombie Movie is an innovative zombie film that combines ideas that I've not yet seen together. I was inspired by Jason Crowe being the star of the hit indie film, Dead Moon Rising... What if you were making a zombie movie during the zombie apocalypse? How would the "action stars" fare in a real life situation? (Yeah, it's also inspired by Galaxy Quest.) It's not just another indie zombie movie, or in this case, another indie zombie comedy, this one has depth in it's characters and a story that will pull you in. You'll laugh, you'll get mad, you may cry, there's even a chance you'll vomit, but I promise you, you'll love every minute of it! The writing is clever and the dynamic cast will more than deliver.

This has a huge cast of talented people who care about acting and a crew of people who excel in their craft. So far I'm paying for the use of the RED cameras, elaborate special effects, food and gas for the dedicated folks (some who are traveling from several states away) to take part in this project. I am fortunate to have so many of these people willing to volunteer their talents to my project.

$1,000 is the bare bones. The more money I raise, the more I can pay people and the more I can get this film in front of people!

This production will happen one way or another, but I'm trying to raise money so I can pay everyone more than just gas and, of course, so I can get this in front of the masses. Marketing and advertisement is key!The rest I plan to pay out of my own pocket, but I could really use the help. However, the cast and crew will get paid first, if not just for my deep appreciation in everyone's faith in my project. We're in pre production right now and we're going to document the entire process. We have until early April to wrap on filming, so this won't be a project that drags on forever. Every week we'll post a new video to keep you updated on where we are. Even include some sneak peeks. I want to offer a lot, something for everyone. I would like to have a lot of audience interaction.
