Our Story

Howdy! My name is Allison Victoria and I am a filmmaker/ actress. I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2009 and have been working in the film industry ever since. 

While in school, I had the opportunity to direct several short films with the Aggie Swamp Film Club. One of the films "Romeo and Juliet... and Zombies" even won Audience Choice at the 2009 SwampFest Film Festival.

Because I was on a shoestring budget, I really learned how to make the most out of every penny. Most of the films I made were made for $40 or less. Crazy right?? And yes... the production value sometimes showed. My corn syrup blood was often too runny. The "monster in the closet" was more often than not a guy in a tattered sheet, not some CGI creation. 

But then it came to me! What if I actually had a little bit of money to use to make another film? Could I possibly pay my actors in cash and not pizza slices? Could my monsters actually look... scary?

I want to raise money to make a quality short film I can be proud to submit to film festivals. 

What We Need & What You Get

I am raising money so that I can rent professional filmmaking equipment. I already have the location set, so I want to focus the main fundraising on renting quality microphones and lighting. It would be a dream to be able to rent a quality HD camera and monitors for the weekend of shooting.
